Who We Are

REV21.BIZ is Bonnie Maclay Schaefer and Beth Maclay Doriani - sisters partnering to offer a broad range of services to small business, churches and other non-profits, and individuals wanting expert business services. Located in western Pennsylvania and in Hampton Roads, Virginia, we started out doing some occasional collaboration and soon realized we were stronger together than separate.  Now we work together as a team, bringing in graphic designers and other professionals as needed so that we can bring our best work to each of our clients.

Our mission is to use our talents developed through many years of experience to meet  our clients' needs in marketing and management. We feel called to give clients in smaller organizations the same top-level professionalism often enjoyed only by large companies.  We thrive on the immediacy and relationships that our clients give.

About
Beth

Bonnie has worked in marketing and management for many years, with specific expertise in growing successful start-up companies.  She holds an M.B.A. in marketing and finance.  Bonnie learned her trade from the best: Years ago, two ex-McKinsey consultants and former P & G product managers hired her to work on the business side in their then-new software company which focused on sales and marketing applications.  The company grew quickly, at one point listing 30th on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies in America and was later bought by Dun and Bradstreet.  Bonnie led the majority of the international division and thus was responsible for such clients as Mobil Europe and large pharmaceutical companies, all of these having accounts in multiple countries.

Subsequently Bonnie served in senior roles in several large and small corporations, where she was tapped to merge large divisions, lead process redesign, release new products, introduce technology, and address challenging staffing needs.  More recently, Bonnie directed a small non-profit, where she led its expansion to multiple offices, nearly tripling its income in four years, re-branding it, and converting it to a medical facility offering ultrasound imaging.

Bonnie has spoken at many venues on various inspirational, motivational, and informational topics. Currently Bonnie serves on the board of a successful large cyber charter school as well as in leadership roles for her church and taekwondo academy, where she holds the rank of Third Degree Black Belt.

Beth began her career in education and understands well the challenges faced by small to medium-sized organizations, especially those with resource challenges. She served on the leadership teams of four colleges/universities and thus brings first-hand experience in setting vision and developing organizations. Working with difficult employees or customers is one of Beth's specialties.  She also has experience with faith-based organizations and understands well the particular cultures and challenges those may have. Further, Beth helped to take one university from 235 students to 1800 students in four years,  leading faculty and adding online programs and services.  The university was subsequently listed by the OEDb (Open Education Database) as one of the top three universities in the nation for the quality of the online programs.

Beth has a doctorate in English and has many years of experience in producing and editing copy and in teaching others to do the same.  She has produced educational and marketing materials and has authored numerous articles and books.  As a member with rank in Toastmasters International and a long-time instructor of a variety of students, Beth is at ease in giving talks to employees or others, groups large and small, on leadership and professional development topics.

Beth also has many years of experience in working one-on-one with CEO's and leadership teams.  A specialty in her higher education profession has been accreditation, an area which involves helping organizations to set appropriate, mission-centered goals and developing metrics to help determine whether real progress has been made.  This background gives her a continual focus on the organization's mission while tailoring services, Internet presence, and all other aspects of the organization to its mission and objectives.
